LEATHERZONE, the second most important fair dealing with technology and research for the future of leather products and luxury shoes, is back with a rich schedule of meetings devoted to an accurate analysis of the relationship between business, innovation, environment, territory and education. Around sixty exhibiting companies producing leather accessories and components, machines and equipments for leather, hides, textiles and chemical products for leather will participate in this event.

 The fair will be hosted inside the Cavaniglia Pavilion and the Sala delle Colonne from the 5th to the 7th October 2011. It is organised by the Consortium Centopercento Italiano, and it represents the catalyzing event for all the institutions, economic professionals and managers of the shoes and leather industry, as well as for experts from the fashion world. They are all involved in this strategic sector for the Tuscan and Italian economy, which finds its ideal key point in the Florence area. The Fair has a rich schedule of targeted meetings and workshops, dealing with many aspects linked with the ‘hot issues’ of product ad process innovation in the shoes and leather sectors. The latter will focus  particularly on the close relationship between territories and the world of production, and its role in the specialized training industry, the real driving force for innovation and employment in the luxury sector.
