Over 650 specialists are expected to participate in this convention (Palazzo dei Congressi, from the 29th to the 30th October 2011), to discuss and get up-to-date information concerning “Modelli, processi di cambiamento e complessità” (Models, Change Processes and Complexities) – A Comparison Between Three Different Approaches and Four Psychotherapeutic Attitudes. Psychotherapists coming from three Schools of Specialization, and representing four different trends, felt the need to create this convention, meant as a space for dialogue and comparison. The aim is to explore and discuss epistemological assumptions, educational models and clinical experiences in an atmosphere of mutual respect, actively involving also the youngest professionals. On schedule, four video-recorded sessions and as many round-table meetings, which will see the participation of the main representatives of the various Schools, interpreting a clinical case from their point of view. The event is sponsored by the Psychology Department of the University of Florence, the Association of Tuscan Psychologists, the Association of Surgeons and Odontologists from the Province of Florence, along with the CNSP (Coordinamento Nazionale delle Scuole Private di Psicoterapia – National Coordination of Independent Schools of Psychotherapy) .
