Everything is ready for the 6th edition of the Congress “Attualità in Senologia” (Current Facts in Senology) organised with the Italian School of Senology, in cooperation with the Italian Society of Senology, the Department of Senology of the Italian Society of Medical Radiology, The Italian Association for Mammographic Screening, and the FONCaM and EuropaDonna associations.

Over 1,500 participants are expected to attend the congress. This Congress is a traditional appointment for all those working to fight against breast cancer. Attualità in Senologia speaks for all those specialists working together to build a diagnostic-therapeutic path. The programme will focus on the most updated and innovative topics  concerning new technologies, therapeutic approaches and new research features. The common thread of the congress will be multi-disciplinarity, an essential approach to guarantee the best treatment for women. The Attualità in Senologia Congress is the concrete evidence of the collaboration and enthusiasm of the Italian senology sector, which sees this congress as an important opportunity to grow and discuss new topics. “As a matter of fact, we would like to dedicate this edition of the Congress to the creation and acknowledgement of  Senology Units in Italy, representing the best possible treatment for all women”, says Prof. Luigi Cataliotti, Chairman of the Organising Board.
